I'm officially an SPM graduate!

Haha SPM's finally over and I must say that it feels a bit weird not having to take out a book and study anymore (at least for 4+ weeks) :-).

Spent my first day of freedom with some friends in Kareshma's house, played some games, watch a movie and talked a bit haha. Next morning, watched football, then returned books in school, then went to Pyramid. We watched A Christmas Carol in the morning, and it was quite good though a bit scary at times haha. Though I've read the book before, I kind of forgot the storyline already, so watching it was fun :-). We watched 2012 in the afternoon, and the three girls were all cuddling close to each other because they were scared lol. Amazing how movies can make things seem so real haha.

I think Pyramid was practically infested with 5 Science 1 students today. I think there were effectively 60-80% of the class there haha :-).

Will be flying off tomorrow. Had to miss Youth Camp, but oh well. And yes, don't worry, I'll remember Freddo haha.

It'll be Christmas in 16 days, and 2010 in 22 days. Time definitely flies.

Its a rarity, but I'll blog twice in the same day :-).

Sometimes you make decisions that you think are right at that time, and then after a while, you change your mind and decide you should have gone or something. And then when you do go, you feel like you shouldn't have gone. I think I've actually blogged about this before some time ago haha, likened it to "The Road Not Taken" :-). I would have to say that he got it spot on in his poem.

So yeah since the night's topic was Emotional Healing, I googled it just for fun and found this interesting statement.

"Look at friends and family members as mirrors or reflections. What you see in another that bothers you or angers you is a part of yourself that has not yet been healed and loved."

So yeah :-).

First Week's Over!

First three days over and with that 4 subjects, 8 papers, and most importantly sej! :-). Haha everyone's been talking about burning the sej book and using it for bbq and all that stuff haha. It feels good to have four papers behind you, especially when those papers are biggies like BM and Sej. After next week, it'll just be down to the three sciences and accounts :-).

Something I have to work on is to be more conscious of God :-). To rely on His strength and not my own. A cool verse from Aaron :

Proverbs 21:31 - The horse is made ready for the day of battle, but victory rests with the LORD.

Why must Taylor's be so complicated.....

Just checked all the Taylor's scholarships and now apparently, if I want to have any chance of getting a full scholarship there, I need to go for the Jan intake. There goes my plan of going NS and then joining the March intake. The max I can get for the March intake is 10k which is the same as the Principal's Awards. Ughh... headache.

So Soon?

Wow, I can't believe yesterday was the last BM tuition class for my whole entire life :-). Just imagine, for 1 1/2 years, I've been going to tuition every Friday, from 3.30-5.30 and now its gonna feel weird being free on a Friday afternoon haha. I'm probably going to miss those classes actually... I kind of enjoyed them :-). (not the homework though haha).

SPM is coming pretty soon and yet I'm still so laid back, not up and about yet. Hmm.. wonder why. The government announced that they'll sponsor the top 30 students to go to top universities in the world, so that's worth a try aiming for. Though its a far shot, why not? :-).

30 days!!!

Sometimes I wonder why I bother. All my efforts seem to be brushed away so easily, with a careless sweep of the hand.

Anyhow, SPM is in 30 days. I guess I have to start studying again after my break of 3 or 4 days. I just looked at the SPM timetable again and realised that its quite nicely spaced out except for physics. So I made my own study timetable based on the SPM timetable and hopefully I'll stick to it and not push things forward like I usually do :-). Hmmm... why do I have a feeling the 30 days will pass pretty fast? And somehow I've a feeling SPM will pass even faster once we're sitting for it :-).

I'm gonna miss high school.
